Savoir-Vivre – The ability to live elegantly and follow / observe the usages of fashionable society.

Protocol – The official procedure of rules governing affairs of state or diplomatic occasions.

Etiquette – A system of rules that explain the correct conduct and procedures to be followed in formal situations.

Manners – A socially acceptable way of behaving.

Civility – Formal politeness and courtesy in behavior or speech.

Chivalry – Very polite, kind and honest behavior, especially from men towards women.

Nuisance – Legal term to describe an activity or condition that is harmful or annoying to others (indecent conduct, a rubbish heap or a smoking chimney).

Business or Workplace Etiquette – A set of rules that help business interactions to function more smoothly.

In my Etiquette course, students will become more aware of the verbal and non-verbal signs that they send to others. They will learn about posture, deportment and body language. Respect, Gratitude and Generosity are emphasized in this course.

First impressions, a sincere smile and eye contact are how you meet others. In 3 seconds, judgements are formed. In this class, business professionals will learn how to maximize the first 3 seconds of their introductions. In addition, listening skills, situational awareness, and Emotional IQ are all taught in this course.
