Mission Statement
Etiquette is a set of rules dictated by a certain social group, while manners are the way we make others feel. Manners are a given when one can maintain an attitude of gratitude. Essentially, manners involve treating others with kindness!
At The Dallas School of Etiquette, Lisa works to teach skills that enable students to become balanced. Lisa’s primary mission is to teach gratitude. After all, true etiquette and manners will flow from a desire to identify the needs of others and to make their needs paramount to one’s own selfish needs.
Lisa’s goal is to instill self-awareness in her students of all ages and train them to carefully listen to others around them. Etiquette and manners should not only be at the core of our curriculum, but also at the core of our souls. This will encourage open minds and doors that lead to success!

These details may include ceremony length, processional / recessional order and more.
Reception Protocol
After the ceremony comes the wedding reception! Don’t let the stress of pleasing everyone keep you from enjoying this special occasion! Prepare yourself and go from there.
Gift Etiquette
Some couples would prefer to receive gift cards, while others have a gift registry that guests can opt to buy gifts from. Lisa will help couples navigate the protocol surrounding how to inform guests about a registry (if you have one) as well as when to send the all-important thank you notes after a gift is received.
Military & Multi-Cultural Weddings
Military weddings may feature additional protocol during the ceremony or reception. Lisa has experience in working with military weddings…some of her own children have served in the armed forces. You’ll learn about uniform protocol as well as the accepted practices for seating by rank.
Multi-Cultural weddings also can have some unique differences that make these occasions extra-special. Learn how to best combine the cultures you embrace in a thoughtful celebration of your union as a couple.
