Children's Summer Etiquette Camp for Social Skills, Dining & Behavioral Training

Lisa’s Etiquette Camp will focus on building the infrastructure to help a child increase their social and behavioral skills. When I teach eye contact and posture, my students know that respect is transmitted through body language and speech. Respect can be transmitted in one second. It is crucial for children to learn how to speak with adults and authority figures.
I teach children how to make visible silent signals to shape every interaction they encounter. We learn that 93 percent of communication is non-verbal tone, gestures and facial expressions. When a child masters reading a room and can transmit appropriate signals, they will accelerate their social competence (even more than an increase in vocabulary).
In my camp, students are taught listening skills at the highest level. Listening require concentration, posture and eye contact. Studies have shown that children will perform better after physical activity.
In addition, I will instruct children in actual, formal dining situations with adults, where they will encounter real social dynamics. Questions are encouraged, because children are taught to ask questions.
Students will practice the three-course meal every day, and cutlery will be mastered. On day four, we will learn etiquette for afternoon tea. A tea tray will be prepared by each child.
Finally, each child will learn how to give a three-minute self-presentation. When children can accomplish these goals, they will know how to behave. Through this camp, children will gain a foundational infrastructure that will help them shine with emotional intelligence, social awareness and genuine confidence that transfers to all.
It is my goal for these outcomes to be measurable and for you to will be able to see your child’s improvement in emotional intelligence and social awareness.
Children / Teen Private Etiquette Session
Cost: $425 for the 1st student with a discount for multiple students. When booking, select the number of students who will attend (up to four allowed). All students must attend the same session together to receive discounted group rate. Food costs are not included. Topics Covered:
This session is available for adults and students (16 and up). Invest in your teenager or in yourself by polishing your self-presentation skills at work and in your personal life! In this three-hour private session, Lisa will work with you to help you with smart dressing for the workplace or special events as well as dining etiquette tips and techniques. Lisa will also offer pointers to help students improve their social skills. As we know in our ever-changing world, first impressions are everything. Whether conducting meetings or interacting with clients, you will need to learn how to refine your social skills to thrive.

3 Hr Family Etiquette Private Session
Cost: $495 for the 1st student, half price for second student and $100 for each additional student if group attends the same session together. Food costs are not included. Please read my Policies page for more details on refunds, cancellations and what to wear to your session with me.
Location: Dallas, TX – Highland Park Area. Lisa will come to your house if you live within a 25 mile radius of her business. If you need her to travel further, there will be at least an additional $100 travel fee.

Mastery in Dining Etiquette - 90 Minute Private Session

During this session, students will go to a restaurant with Lisa to practice table skills and learn from the fine dining experience.

Topics Covered:
Lisa teaches this class at Cafe Pacific or The Mansion Restaurant. This class is designed to elevate your dining experience and unleash the power of polished poise. You will go through all the elements of dining with Lisa, who explains the entire process - from the invitation to the thank you note. You will be taught the place settings and guided through the rules of dining etiquette, so that you’ll not only know what these rules are, but why they are important.
By the end of the session, you will feel confident about circulating at cocktail parties, introducing guests to one another and dealing with seating plans, toasts and speeches. Subjects covered include a mastery of table manners, dining etiquette Do and Do Nots, poised presence, artful conversation, hosting and guest etiquette, toasts and speeches and an introduction to cultural dining customs.
3 Hr Children's Social Skills, Interview Prep or Dining Etiquette Course

Topics Covered:
In this three hour course, children will learn social skills to help them treat peers and adults with grace and poise. Through fun, hands-on activities, students will learn about Posture and Body Language, Meeting and Greeting New People, Conversation Skills, Growth Mindset and Perceived Control, Tech Etiquette and Thank You Notes and Invitations.
This class can be customized to meet your child's needs. If preferred, Lisa can teach a 3 hour dining etiquette session to help children master table manners, cutlery and cultural dining norms.
Or, prepare your child for college with an Interview Prep session! Lisa will train your child how to prepare for an interview and help with talking points for interview success. Self-Presentation, Proper Conversation and how to properly Thank the Interviewer will also be taught.
1 Hour Adult Business Etiquette & Social Skills Private Session
